Liability Waiver

By registering or booking with Barefoot Yoga & Therapy, you agree to accept our waiver of liability. This is mandatory, along with disclosing your physical injuries or medical conditions. This waiver of liability statement applies to all services carried out with Barefoot Yoga & Therapy. 

‘By booking with Barefoot Yoga & Therapy, you understand that neither Barefoot Yoga & Therapy or it’s Teachers will be liable for any damage or injury resulting from your practice, nor any loss or damage to personal belongings. You understand that classes may be physically strenuous, and you voluntarily participate in them with the knowledge that there is risk of accident, injury or death. 

You must not perform any posture to the extent of strain or pain. You must recognise that it is your responsibility to notify the teacher of any illness or injury before the start of every session. You must inform the teacher immediately should you not want to be physically adjusted during the session. You understand that due to the nature of hot yoga, surfaces may be slippery, and you will take care when moving around the studio. You agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Barefoot Yoga & Therapy, its teachers or its clients for any accident, injury, property loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.’

Pregnant and post-natal students who are attending a non-pregnancy class must sign a Pregnant Student Waiver (available at studio receptions) before practising class.

If you have provided your phone number, we use this to contact you if last minute changes to your booking have to be made. If the teacher is unwell and there is no replacement at short notice, we will cancel the class and inform you contacting you via the contact details that you have provided when signing up.
